how do u adjust the screen on old 27" telle?

the screen looks long at the top ok in the middle and short at the bottom with about 4" of black, i understand that behind the screen inside behind the light tube are five circular adjusters, i think these are what control Focus, Roll, Top Hieght, Bottom Hieght, Width. but im not sure.

i need to find out if these are adjusters and can be adjusted also the effects, and which one does which, if any one has any other ideas like changing a variable on the circuit or any other sugestions please email me at davehotttt@hotmail.com

The adjustments on the tube base are for colour balancing, they are not geometry controls. (If you adjust those you will mess up the colour and brightness of your picture).

On modern TV's the geometry adjustments are usualy accessed using the remote handset, via a hidden service menu.

However, the cause is far more likely to be a faulty component than adjustment.

In your case, probably a leaky electrolytic capacitor in the frame output circuit.

Once set in the factory, TV geometry generally remains stable throughout its life.
