How can I set Num Lock to be on for Windows 2000 login screen?

Every time I login to Windows 2000 I make a mistake because the Num Lock is not on. I would like to know if there is a setting which will put the Num Lock on at startup, so that it is always on.

You need to run the Registry Editor. Start Button>Run, then type regedit32.exe

Go to the folder to HKEY_USERS\Default\Control Panel\Keyboard

Change the value for InitialKeyboardIndicators from 0 to 2.

This should do the trick.
