HELP! My Hotpoint WM61 won't spin :-(?

My Hotpoint WM61 runs through the cycle fine until it reaches spin then it stops.

I'm fed-up with hanging sopping wet stuff on the line that's not rinsed through properly so any advice would be most welcome.

Cheers

Kelly

this is usually the brushes in the motor that can be purchased from local washing machine service centre. They cost around £12,to fit them is straight forward as they just click in and out but this is easier with motor taken out as the one closest to the drum can be awkward to remove. the motor is not hard to remove but you may need a hand............... remember to turn off and unplug !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like the motor requires new brushes HOTPOINT part no 1600474.
