The knob which works my Tricity Bendix washing machines timer has broken. It would be a 2 minute job to repair but for one thing. The screws in the back, which I need to remove to get the top off, require a special tool. Where can I find the tool required to get the top off my washer? The screws have a sunken star shaped hole, with a small built up bit in the middle which prevents me from using a normal T-Screwdriver. Help!
oh man, there is some real silly guys about? all you need to do is go to any good tool shop and get a full kit of bits, coz if you dont penny to a pound your going to finaly get the top off only to find even more torxs bit inside, then what take a hacksaw to the hole machine? and for onlt £10.00p to £15.00p or less you can do the job as ment times as you like,

P.s. or get a hammer and screwdriver and smash the pimble out, if you have ordinary star-shaped extensions.

Star-shaped screws with pimbles! They're a pain! Go to a tool shop, or get a hack saw, and saw a line across the screw, so you can use an ordinary screwdriver.
