Over-flowing on rinse cycle - Ariston A1400WD?

I've got an Ariston A1400WD - 1.5 years old and its not well. I think the problem is its trying to spin (rinse) before its fully drained. The result is slightly soapy water spewing out of the soap dispenser. Then the machine stops all together - so I whipped the top off and gave the drum a wobble, and a little relay clicked and the rinse continued - but didn't overflow as I think enough water had drained out.

The machine has always been a bit shaky on its spin cycle (I think we overload it rather) so I wondered whether something has shaken out of position.

Any ideas anyone?
