what is wrong with my ford transit gearbox?

my transit will only drive in 3/4 gear not 1/2/5 or rev
what is the problem

gear lever won't go in thes gears

There is a small bearing inside the gearbox and when it goes this stops you getting 1,2,5 and rev the bearing cost about 10 pound to buy from ford
