Creative Labs Zen Touch 20 GB

The player has a playback error and i need to reinstall the firmware. When i try to connect the device to computer to reinstall the firmware every thing connects fine but when i load up the firware software it says not connected ! I think this is because i am not in recovery mode. Unfortunately i can not get the player into recovery mode. I have connected to power supply held down play pressed a paper clip in the recovery hole for 4 seconds taken it out and held play for ages and it will not go into recovery mode !! Any ideas would be awesome !! Thanks

The same thig happend with my Zen, three days later it died. I think it zen's way of letting us know that he's done. Sorry I don't have better news.
