Bearings for Hotpoint WMA32?

Has anyone changed bearings on a Hotpoint WMA32 washing machine. The bearing and seal set is quite cheap and wondered if there are any special tools I'll need to buy that would not make it worth while.

no special tools required but its a pig of a job.I have just changed mine and have a DVD that provides you with a guide to the job.Whilst it recommends special tools I haven't used any.

Hello stevie,
I have changed bearing on the WMA range and I would not recommend it if your model is an all in one casing which means that if you have to get to the bearing you have to take the whole insides out from the front, not an easy job, no special tools needed except a heavy hammer to get the old bearing out, good luck to you, knowing what I know now, I would have replaced the machine right there and then.
