I put the batteries in the cradle and activated the caller ID with the carrier but nothing appears in the window when the phone rings. I do not have an instruction manual for the phone so I was wondering if anyone new the answer
The buttons on the top of the phone are dial, options, and delete. GE Model 29267GE3-B

The BT person may have added that you have to ask your phone company for Caller ID. It is not automatic and some phone companies charge for this service. (BT do not anymore.)

Hi i work in a BT callcentre it takes up to 28 hours for that to activate.If it hasn,t worked by then ring your supplier and ask them why.
