How can I fix my Mikomi 15LCD 250 LCD flatscreen 15" tv - No Power!!?

Could anyone please help. We purchased a Mikomi 15" LCD flatscreen TV just before Christmas. Unfortunately cannot locate the receipt which is typical so therefore are unable to return to the shop where purchased. However we no longer have any power to the unit and obviously will not switch on. We have checked the obvious like plugs/fuses etc. Any ideas.....Any help would be appreciated.

First of all a failure like that on a budget priced box like Mikomi is often terminal.

However, under the various sale of goods acts you don't need a receipt as long as you purchased the TV from the shop that you are returning it to. I have only ever seen Mikomi on sale at Argos so I suggest (assuming that you bought it from them) you take it back anyway. They may try to wriggle a bit but if you stand your ground and tell them that you definitely bought it from them before Christmas (a credit card statement would be useful here) they should help you out with your problem.

Finally as a tip, Which says that TVs should last up to five years. Anything less than that means that they were faulty at the time of purchase and therefore should be repaired, replaced or refunded under warranty.
