Why doesn't my turntable turn?

Why doesn't my Panasonic NN S953WF Microwave turntable turn? Everything else works perfectly. Turntable is clean & dry, as is glass tray.

Probably due to the motor below the drive spindle having failed. Suggest you have it looked at by an engineer. A replacement motor should not be too expensive.
