MY REGISTER SHOWS E9 AND DOES NOT WORK AT ALL

OK the master reset is a bit drastic. Try to avoid that. Most ofen it happens because you started something and have not yet finished what you started. Check the receipt tape or journal to see what printed last.

And you might check the website http://www.cashregisterguys.com/samsungmanuals.html
they have a lot of manuals posted there as well as a blog

Save reports by doing an 'X' and then a 'Z'. Turn key to last turn. it's the one after PGM. Key should then be in the 'Six O' Clock' position. You have to use the 'MC' key to allow you to do this.
Then unplug the cash register. Hold down the 'Clear' key and plug the cash register back in whilst still holding down the clear key.
You should then get a report on the till roll,: ......cs.
That clears the Ram memory. The till should then operate again; however all previous reports will be lost. That's why you should,if you, can , do an 'X' or 'Z' before you carry out this procedure. Your cash register will then be back to the way it was when you bought it, so you'll have to reprogramme it to suit your needs.
