Puh button cistern takes long time to fill?

My push button toilet has alway worked well until recently. However, it now is taking a long time to refill. The water is just trickling into the cistern. Any ideas what it might be? How do I fix it? I have read other bits and pieces on the internet about how to clean out various bits and pieces that would cause this on an ordinary flush toilet, but the set up of the push button toilet is very different and I am lost!

I didn't own the flat when the toilet was put in, but I am guessing it was from B&Q and SI-AMP is written on the flusing mechanism

Does anyone know how to actually get the lid off a B&Q toilet, please? (It's a Rejuvenate) I can unscrew it but then I lift it up and the button stem is still hooked up to something inside so I can't take it off :(

Yep B&Q. It's a split in a rubber washer inside the big knob at the side top.
Easy to replace, but surprisingly expensive. (Can't remember how much, but too much for a tiny bit of rubber.) It's just happened again to me, so I'm trying bicycle repair rubber cement around the hole, and the entire groove. You never know.
This is the second time in two years, and the whole thing's only about three years old. Buy cheap...
I'm looking to see if poss to replace the whole inlet mechanism.

you have a small stone or debris in the line, turn the water valve off and take apart the guts in the cistern, clean them out with compressed air or water. While you have it apart look at your orings, might be time to replace with the o ring kit from any hardware store.

the flush mech is nothing to do with the fill valve. the duel flush in the middle the fill valve is on the side.
