How do I change the pump in a Worcester comb boiler?

How do I remove the pump from the boiler? Do I have to take the boiler from the wall to be able to get at the pump?
Peter Dent, February 2005
You should be able to just drain the boiler and remove the pump , in all my years I have never had to remove the boiler from the wall to replace a pump, the only reason i have had to remove the boiler from the wall was to replace the pressure vessel
