Bosch Exxcel dishwasher doesn't drain but floods the kitchen?

What's wrong with my dishwasher? It's a Bosch Exxcel and it goes through the full wash cycle (without drying). It gets stuck on the last minute and when I look the dishes appear to have been washed, but the water hasn't drained. It leaks out onto the kitchen floor. Can it be fixed without calling in an engineer?

Worked great when new but now leaves residue on glasses and bits of food and dirty water in the bottom. I have dismantled and cleaned all the filters that pull ou and run de-scaler and cleaner but makes lettle difference. Any ideas?

My machine is stuck on 18 min and won't switch to other settings. Switched it off at the mains and started it again and it worked but did not completely drain. When I switched it on again it will not change to any other setting but you can hear that something s on

there is a drip tray under the machine, when it gets full it exhibits all the symptoms you describe.
Before i knew this i paid silly £'s for someone to send minutes faffing and curing the problem.
now i just get loads of towels out and tip the machine over to empty the tray (HASTEN TO ADD, PROBABLY NOT THE MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDED METHOD, but it works for me, saving £'s)

Same problem - was this a quality issue and did Bosch recall Excel dishwashers?

hi my dishwasher will not fill up with water but still goes through its program?? could you please give me advise thankyou.

quick cycle does not include a drying interval. check manual. see programme diagram for details. with a new machine use auto at first until you are familiar with it.

Have just had my Bosch exxcel replaced as it repeatedly showed a fault in the widow, does not dry and yes, flooded the floor. Recieved the new one today and have put it through a quick cycle. It did work but is soaking wet inside. i did not buy a dishwasher to do the drying up. This machine is awful and the worst buy I have ever made. Bosch should own up and withdraw them from sale.

It is worth dismantling the lower tier water filter assemblt - remove spray bar and filter and cover including cylindrical screen - clean all then remove the two Torx screws holdong the inlet cover to the pump (there's a bit sticking up on the left hand side to pull it out) Clean the sieve there (you can get a build up of scale)

have you checked the filter? could just be blocked.

sound like you need to call an engineer, there not a lot on dishwashers you can adjust etc..
sounds like pump faulty/jammend...
