My LG Intellowasher 7kg WM-1171 FHB, only runs for about 30 seconds cuts out and then displays the error code "SE". LG Help Line has said we need an engineer to reset the sensor (at a cost of £109.00), can anyone help?

I've had the same problem with my washer. The problem is due to a sensor, wich is placed on the rear end of the electrical motor. It senses in wich direction the motor turns. Just replace the sensor(just one little screw and a connector to disconnect). Or if you can get your hands on a second hand motor replace it completely.(might be cheaper ;) )
