Samsung E900?

samsung e900 mobile phone?

When I turn on the phone the whole of the screen is white, does this mean that the ribbon cable needs replacing, if so can I do this myself?

or

do I need a new lcd screen and can I replace this myself?

This is obviously a common fault mine has done exactly the same, it has not been dropped or anything i used it, it wa fine i put it in my pocket and when i went to use it again it was just a white screen.

We have the same problem with my E900 and quoted £60 to repair they say it isnt a manufacturing fault!!
