my cd drive does not work. it does not appear in my computer and i cant find in the device manager. i have it seems that the drives are not loading. i have tride to find the correct drivers on the net but have had no luck so far.
any advice you can give me would be appreciated.

Mick, have you gone into your control panel window and then opened the "System" file? Under the "Device Manager" there should be an icon for the drive but it will probably have a yellow question mark next to it. Highlite the device then click on the "Remove" tab. This should resolve the problem.

Mick, try uninstalling the device via your "Add Remove hardware options found on the control panel. Once removed, shut down your PC and then restart it. Hopefully your operating system will identfy the device and re-install the drivers for you.
