convert VHS recordings to my PC?

hiya, i have a few vhs recordings and would like to put them on to my pc to burn on to dvd, hat's the best way to do this without any complicated hassel which i've encountered before and what do i need to do it. please help me out,

video capturing is what you would like achieve. you can buy usb devices, one end goes into the usb (dahh !) the other end has connections for your video player, starting at about £20 to over £100 you will also need a dvd burner and software like nero 7. have a look at http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/store/2/cat/Video-Capturing---TV-Tuners .
