Hi, my ariston ad12 margherita 2000 washer/dryer will not dry anything. my washer works fine but when it comes to drying. the dryer and the clothes get hot but they still come out wet. i've empted water from the base several times,checked the pipes at the back, descaled it and i've also looked for the button under the lid but couldn't find it.

sounds like my washer/dryer combo (claritone), just one day the dryer stopped working. The clothes actually come out fairly dry after the wash 'spin' cycle, but when the dryer has finished, the clothes are soaking wet again. Hope to hear a good answer some day. I suspect it's my condenser is clogged with lint ... some day I'll take it apart and see if that IS the problem. Otherwise, the clothesline in the bath tub is working out just fine....
