When I insert any CD into stero it comes up as error-04. Users manual does not give any trouble shooting info of what problem might be or a remedy

You might have forgotton to unscrew the two screws on the top of the radio chasis. If they r still there get rid of them and i hope it will sort out the problem

This is what it says on my instruction booklet.

Save your pre-set stations

There are six numbered pre-set buttons, which can be store and recalled stations for each band. While listening to a radio station you would like to save as a pre-set, press and hold one of the buttons numbered 1 – 6 until you hear a beep. The button you pressed is now the pre-set button for that station.

if its a copied cd then it could be that the cd's are of poor quality and the cd player is rejecteing them, for this i would recommend buying brand cd's instead of generic one's...if they are not copys then it could either be the lense on the cd player or just scratches on the actual cd, you can buy cd's which clean the laser lense for about £5 out of asda. :) ........
is there any chance you could tell me how to save radio channels on this cd player as my car came with the same cd player but with no manual. so im stuck....any help would be much appreciated...thanks
