Panasonic ct-32g5b no picture or audio from rf jack?

tv turns on with just white and black fuzz. can hook of dvd with comonet video jacks and get picture but no sound. no picture or sound with rf/cable. on screen menus work ok. any ideas? pattern failures? thanks

Yes you will get picture and no sound with component video - it only carries video. You need to connect the audio as well.

As to your question about your rf jack I just don't understand your question. What are you trying to connect to what? and how?
