how do i clean the filter on my aquarius wf000?

As there seems to be an internal leak on my wasing machine, a hotpoint aquarius wf000, I want to clean the filter but as with other machines where you could just turn a dial at the front and it popped out, I can't find it????

Hi. Just tried this because our washer stank & cleaning it hadn't helped. Not sure I has worked test yet but we found a hair bubble, button and £3.01p in there! To help clarify, the back panel is the small plastic panel, and the jubilee clip is a metal ring you can tighten up- its at the top of a black rubber funnel thing.

Thanks Jason and Jeff. You saved me a few quid on a washing machine repair man. This is right, just turn off the mains power, remove the back panel, remove the really big jubilee clip, remove the ball and take the gunk out then replace everything. If I can do it anyone can! Strange that this procedure isn't detailed in the instruction manual.

the other guy is right, just taken big jubilee clip off and it was full of all sorts, fairly easy to do.

i cant see the jublie clip ...am i looking in the wrong place ?

the filter is behind the back panel! you will see a big jubilee clip holding the filter housing on. Easy! Are you sure the leak is from there though?
