My plastic clip which holds the spindle from automatic feeding broke. How do I get a replacement and also how do I open it. It does have any screws around it either.

The same thing just happened to me, too. Try this website to order replacement parts, they even have schematics: http://www.toolpartsdirect.com/cgi-bin/schematic.cgi/blackdecker/GH400_TYPE_1

Their processing fee is insaine for a $2.00 part, but I guess it's better than replacing the whole tool.
