How do i replace the power cord on my tristar ultra 1000? I cant seem to figure out how to open the cannister.

A correction to the above, the screws are in the fixed-wheel wells, not the swivel-wheel wells.

If the 1000 is like my Tristar cannister, there are screws in each of the swivel wheel wells, a screw in front that holds the plastic cord guide and nut holding the on/off switch under the lever. Remove these and the cannister splits in two. I watched and paid a Tristar repair man take mine apart to replace the power cord.
