The above is a twin deck. deck A plays but the sound is muffled and distorted. Deck B just makes lost of grinding type of noise it did play for few minutes and than a loud noise starts the noise is not from the speaker but seems like the drive moter. I suspect the drive belts and the audio heads but i want to be sure before i buy anything could anyone please assist me thank you

Hello, Vijay, 3 1/2 years have passed and still no answers?
You still want to play cassette recordings? So do I, and I have got hold of the same cassette deck, but without the main unit. I work with finding which AC voltage to put into it. May be I succeed but get the same problems as you, hi!
I guess your problems are within the software or the ICs proocessing it.
By the way, have you a schematic diagram for it?
