Dual flush Toilet problem?

Hi,

I have an Impulse Dual flush cistern. There is water constantly running into the pan and the cistern is trying to then fill back up. Can I take this aprt and fix or do i need a whole new unit?

Hi mate. yes you can take it apart but try first www.toiletspares.co.uk and see exactly which one is.

SAME PROBLEM - BUT THE CISTERN CONTINUES TO FILL OVER THE DUAL FLUSH UNIT AND DRAIN DOWN THE OVERFLOW. WE HAVE HAD THE UNIT REPLACED, WE HAD ADJUSTED IT WITH THE THREADED ROD AND HAD THE WATER PRESSURE ADJUSTED BUT IT CONTINUES TO OVERFILL - HELP!!

Sadly I bought A house with three Roca toilets and they all had the same problem at the same time. There is a rubber valve at the bottom that hardens up with limescale and starts leaking water into the pan causing the cistern to periodically refill. You can look up Roca on the web and order a part and instructions to fit as they are aware of the problem cos there cistern design is rubbish.
