I just took mine apart, all the lines rotten, appear to just be friction fit except the primer or visa versa,
If your fingers are small enough you might be able to reach in and feed a new line through the hole if there's no old line stuck in the hole. My inside filter was loose and just fell out the filler hole along with a few pieces of fuel line. If not use a piece of wire to pull it out.
It doesn't matter which hole the fuel line runs into as long as they're cut the right length. Presume to need to replace the prime line also. or might as well.
The other is for the primer and presume to be a return line, or mine didn't have a filter on it. one of the holes also smaller. and appears the line just sits in a recess or in my case is going to need to reamed out to fit properly. Either way it wouldn't hurt to let it run to the bottom of the tank if replacing it if the hole happens to be big enough to run the line right in.
Then there's the issue of being able to find the right size fuel line, It not a common size, But expect a small engine service place will have it. Mine also needs a new primer.
Probably easier to take the tank off, only takes a few minutes and easier to work on.
3 T-25 torx screws for the plastic cover heat shield.
5 for the crankcase cover which also holds the tank on,
If you just loosen off the inside ones and take the 3 outside ones off you don't have to worry about exposing the inside crankcase or let dirt it etc.
Still have to loosen them off quite a bit and pull the cover out to twist the tank off.
Feed the new line in and pull it out with a hooked wire.
Install the filter on the end. and push it back in the tank, figure enough loose line inside to lay along the length to the other end of the tank in operation position. It just lays in there loose and should lay flat to pick up fuel constantly.
Leave enough loose fuel line on the outside to hook to the carb, primer etc, and reinstall it.
Note: mine is yet to fixed properly, Not having the right size fuel line, I used pieces of metal brake line to go through the holes in the tank and added some handy vinyl line to it, It all fit except to the primer where it was too loose. Not that it mattered, my primer self destructed. Though it just about started and ran without it. also developed a fuel leak I couldn't see in the dark. Looking for proper parts now....
