what are the carby settings for a 028 stihl, i got this saw second hand with a brocken fuel line, i have replaced the fuel line but it still wont go, it seems to have good compresion and a strong spark, which makes me think the carbys out of tune,can anyone help. thanks

hi,settings for stihl chainsaws are nearly always the same.screw the L&R screws right in, gently,then screw out both one and a half turns.the R screw can be adjusted to one and threequarter turns if needed,and the L to one turn.if your carb is ok and doesnt need a carb kit then this adjustment always works for me.
