Portable Air Conditioner fan runs but does not cool?

The other day i switched on my Airworks Portable 4-in-1 Air Conditioner(Model - PACR8000) and the fuse in my apartment blew. I have replaced the fuse, however my A/C does not work anymore. While the Heat and Fan options work, the Cool and Dry(de-humidify) options do not work. Upon switching on the unit and setting the mode to cool or dry the fan runs normally. The green indicator that lights up when cool/dry mode is on flashes for a few seconds and then dis-engages. This process continues over and over but the unit does not cool/dry and i don't hear the compressor kicking in.

Appreciate any advise on how to troubleshoot this issue.

I had a similar problem with my portable AC unit, and similar symptoms. Decided to unplug and remove the casing to try to sort it out, and found the power supply cable to the compressor was loose! The fan was running OK. Started up and now back in business. It might just be something like that... Good luck

See if there is anything on the unit or manual that says about the green flashing indicator. Most manufacutres install a circuit board that diagnosis its problem by codes of the number of flashes it does.
