As you don't say what sockets are on what box this is really difficult. Remember you can see the boxes and I can't. However here is some generic stuff.

I am guessing these are the sockets that you refer to on the back of your X-Box. They are: Yellow - composite video, Red - Audio Right, White - Audio left.

The sockets on the back of the TV are Red, Green & Blue Video input. You will also find a pair of audio sockets: Red - Audio Right & White - Audio left.

The best way to attach anything to an HD TV is via an HDMI cable. If your X-Box has an HDMI socket - buy an HDMI cable.

Alternatively buy a cable that has SCART at one end and Yellow, Red & White phono (RCA) plugs at the other. Plug yellow, red & white into your Xbox and the SCART end into AV2 of your TV.

Select AV2 on your TV and there you have it.
