Hi there,

I live in the netherlands and I had the same problem. My reservoir was getting hot, yet no click sound when pressing the steamrelease button on the iron itself.

I disassembled it and one of the wires of the steam valve was loose, no nothing was released when i pressed the button.

I reattached the wire and all worked fine again.

So, have a handy guy or your local technician open up the system and see if everything is still in place. My wires were all kind of loose so they never connected really well in the first place. Might be the case with your machine also.

If the element is burned out though (every wire inside is ok and not getting hot) just forget about it.

Now, 6 month later the iron itself get leaky and after ironing some 10 minutes or so it blows out the earthleak detection system.

Let me know it it helped.

good luck.
