after defrost and plug in electicity again, Orange light in freezer is on, how I correct it to switch to green light?

hi i have recently noticed that an orange light has appeared on my freezer, some foods are still frozen ie veg but the rest ie bread and some of the meat have started to defrost, I have never touched the dial sionce I bought it currently on number 5 and I have just increased to number 7, can you help

orange light is normally the fast freeze button, have you accidentally put fast freeze on..

also green light will only show when frz @ correct temp. if not showing you may have a prob..and will need an engineer..
