I was downloading files one day to my mp3 player, now it says that I cannot download any files because of a write-protection, can anyone give me a step-by-step procedure to fixing this problem?

In some cases the FAT file format can be the problem. For example: I you have a lot of files with large names, the File Allocation Table size may be insuficient.
