how to "thread" an emerson sewing machine, old one, set tension?

, i am not sure i have it threaded right, and the tension must be off, the thread gathers ups on bottom side of material. it has a olate on the machine that says "mc calls", i need a book or diagram of how to thread it. and any info on tension, thanks

I think you may have a bit of a job getting hold of a book for that machine, how old is the machine ? if it is possible for you to e-mail a picture of the machine I can help you out.
