My toilet wont stop filling up?

Hi everyone, I have a bottom inlet valve compact 99B. The other day it stopped filling the toilet properly and started taking ages, I had a look at it today and now it won't stop filling up, I have taken it to pieces but I can't see what the fault is, could anyone please help? Thanks

Hi thanks very much for your reply, I think that was the problem and I have bought some new parts for it so it now works! Thanks once again.

is the diaphragm ok ? they go hard over time and don't seal properly.

make sure when you put it back together it's all clean of limescale etc and lined up or they don't shut right and will keep running.

or just fit a complete new valve for what they cost.
