in response to the first question.
did you rember to fit the wires from the mouse and keybord in? they should be about 1-2cm long and be blue on the end and the mouse goes in the motherboad near the battery and the keyboad on the rear of the motherboad and have you tried using external keyboad and mouse through usb? (this will only work if you have enabled USB on startup through the BIOS beforehand but might still work give it a go!)

if you dont know what your doing DONT DO IT! dont be a cheep skate and send it off to be placed as it really is quite complicated and i cant be bothered to explain sorry!
