How do I get rid of a Mildew Smell in My Kenmore Washing Machine?

I have a Kenmore Series 80 washing machine, that has begone to smell like mildew. The smell is now getting transferred to my clothes. I have tried different things to get rid of the smell with no luck.

turn on a normal sycle using 1 liter of white vinnegar (without clothes) It worked for me
