How can I fix my broken screen?

My Sony 4.1 mega pixel Cyber Shot digital camera screen has gone white - how do I fix or replace it and is this going to be cheaper than replacing it completely?

Your best bet is to contact the main Sony repair number that came with the camera, or an authorized repair shop. Do not try to repair it yourself, as you may void a warranty or make the repair more expensive and/or impossible.
