Remove the door and lay it flat.
Fill the dent with water then lay a wet teatowel over the dent.
Apply a hot iron to the area of the dent. This should swell the wood and refill the dent.
It may harm the finish though if the door is painted or varnished. But a quick sand and you're good to go.
