How can I fix my hotpoint WM64 - drum not turning by hand?

The metal drum of my hotpoint Aquarius 1200 WM64 stopped turning during wash and I couldn't rotate the drum even a little bit by hand - looks not like socks jammed between the drum and the plastic casing. I checked the drum belt was broken but I suspected it wasn't the real cause. Could it be the drum bearing? the machine does fill and empty and complete cycles fine and the motor also turns fine. How can I undo the door seal to access the metal drum? I found it too fiddly to remove the clips without removing the front first. I have never fixed a washing machine before. Could anyone give a detailed help urgently and where can I get the parts? Lots of washes are waiting now! many thanks.

Hi
First of all you need to unplug the machine!
now remove the top remove soap draw then the screws behind the draw (4) next lift the front panel foward this will then remove the control knob lay this panel on top of the machine.
next take a flat screwdriver and release the plastic clip that hold the door seal to the front panel.
unclip the door seal remove the screws from the front metal panel 3 at the top and 3 bottom are behind the plastic trim.
release the door lock screws and lift this panel out of the way.
you will now see the plastic front unclip the blk clips and remove the wires from the heater.
place an old towel in the bottom of the machine base to catch any water that comes out.
remove the sock or whatever and re fix the drum back.
hope this helps please post a reply thanks Ian.
