I have a Hoover washer/dryer model number HWU085 which did come with any operating instructions. I cannot see how the dryer function works and this model does not appear to exist, having checked the official Hoover websites, so do not know the age of the model or where it originated from. I live in Qatar.

Did you get an answer? I am trying to work out how to get the fabric conditioner to be used in the cycle - the cycle finishes and the conditioner remains in its drawer.

The dryer appears to work by default - I set it for 80 minutes and it comes out dry.
