How do I record Freeview onto video or DVD?

I have a Freeview box with 2 scart sockets, a TV with 2 scart sockets, an analogue video with 2 scart sockets and a dvd player with 2 scart sockets (and all the relevant aerial sockets etc). Is there any way I can record Freeview onto either Video or DVD? If so can you give be step by step instructions as to what leads need to be plugged in where. Many thnx

Connect you TV to AV1 on the Freeview box and connect whatever device that you want to record on to to AV2 on the Freeview box. If you connect the recording device (VCR or DVD recorder) via it's AV1 socket then choose AV1 as the input for record - if AV2 then choose that. I am surprised that the Freeview box did not have a diagram on how to do this. In my experience, even the cheaper ones do.
