Hi, M from Zimbabwe. I am a technician and this problem seems to baffle people internationally. I have done some research, in some cases its easy to rectify the problem, and it is impossible in other cases. Some say you clean the laser and it becomes okay, but you have to know what you are doing.
In some cases you may need a new laser, and it will cost you less trouble if you buy a new player. But you must ask yourself how old your machine is?
