Ive just bought sky+ box, ive just one box on wall with a point for Fm or digital,a point for sky satelite and another for video or ITV digital decoder. how do i connect sky+ box when it needs to leads which ones do i use?

You CAN use 1 cable to run your SKY+ box, but won't be able to watch a 2nd channel while watching another. The leads use 'F' type connectors which are screw on type as there is a V small voltage that runs through the cable. you can get cabling and 'F' connectors from most DIY stortes, but as the previous reply says, you will need a separate cable from the dish for each channel. It is possible to have a "plate" on the wall that has sockets for standard aerial cable and also SKY cable (the SKY socket is a screw in type). I was told by a SKY engineer that it best to have the cable straight from the dish to the box, but I have installed my own wall plate and the signal strength is fine (viewed via a sneaky engineer menu thats invisble to the general public that I was told about).

I guess you did not read my previous answer the net of which is: you can't. Sky+ needs two feeds from the LNB (Dish). None odf the other socket will work. The ONLY way you can get Sky+ to work properly is to ask the management company for your flat to provide another feed.

I just thought, before you ask, you cannot split the existing feed in to two. They have to be individual wires from the LNB.
