Replace a C.R.T Monitor with a TFT type?

My 8yr old computer has a 14inch CRT Monitor with a 15pin Density and a half plug connector, can I purchase any make of TFT with the same connector and just plug it in without any problems ?. Thanks Norman

Check that the computer's graphics card can display the resolution that the screen is designed to work with. (They have a native resolution - one which works best. You may see odd results if you try to use a resolution other than the one that the screen was designed to work with.)
