Fault codes for an Indesit DI 620 dishwasher?

Have a problem with an Indesit DI 620 dishwasher where the No 4 programme (ECO) light flashes rapidly. If I put the machine on prog 2 (normal), the machine dispenses the tablet and starts to wash, but stops during the cycle.

FEINT LED'S, INCOMPLETE CYCLES...

A common fault with the control boards is the 1uF capacitor reducing to around 0.2uF . This will give feint LED's, pulsing motor operation and various fault indications because it won't be completing cycles properly.
Check the cap if you can or replace it with the correct AC type. You may find this fault on various types of equipment, last time I saw this was on GHD's! Replace control board if you have to.
Note: Led's aren't particularly bright when working properly!

We had the same problem with our dishwasher. After reading several websites we opted to unplug the dishwasher and poured a kettle of boiling water into the filter. After 10 minutes we plugged it back in and it started working again! Don't know why or how this works but it helped until the next problem!

Its a meter (not a metre which is a unit of length) and you cannot check resistance with a voltmeter you need an ohmmeter or multimeter. the heating element should read between 20 and 60 ohms.

Could be the element but just as likely to be the thermister ntc or even more likely a dry joint on the control board.

Hi, I know its a long time ago but this is happening to us, did you get it fixed in the end & if so would you please tell us as as its the exact same problem!

Check the heating element. Test with voltage metre.
