Thanks Ian. There are two thermisters that plug into the rear panel. One green plug and one yellow plug. Do you know which one causes the fault or should I replace the both?
Got a hotpoint fridge-freezer that has packed up four times in the past 9 months. On each occasion the service engineer has replaced both thermisters. Hope this useful.
