i need help with my 1993 ford escort van?

a certain wire for the glow plugs to turn on with the ignition has burnt out and i cant find which one it is. it said in the haines manual that it burns out if there is a short circuit but it doesnt tell you which one it is waste of 15 quid. if anyone knows which one it is i wud really appreciate it if you could e-mail me with the details at richarddudden@yahoo.co.uk because it would save me joining 2 wires together to start it thankyou

Richard to test which one, remove each glowplug in turn keep the wire attached, turn on the ignition touch the threaded portion of the glowplug to a good earth point and get someone to swith on the ignition and watch to see if the glowplug end glows, do this to each and if the one plug doesnt glow there is your short. Test the plug first at a good point.
