Indesit WD12S washerdryer water is not heating but goes through cycle?

Water is not not heating in the machine clothes are coming out cold. The machine going through the cycle as normal. Please can anyone tell me what is wrong and how to fix it?

At the end of the programme, your clothes should come out cold. The machine only heats the water for the wash. All the rinses are cold. If the heater is not working, the machine would not advance throught the programme further than the wash.
If you have selected 40degrees the water wouldn't be very warm anyway.
